The Anchor Program Fund is a fundraising and dream-making organization that enhances and enriches the Camp A.N.C.H.O.R. experience.
Why? Because we believe that everyone, no matter their physical or intellectual abilities, deserves the chance to take part in fun, creative, and social activities, in a place where they are safe and loved.

The Town of Hempstead runs Camp A.N.C.H.O.R. all year long. The Anchor Program Fund helps enrich every part of it.
Summer
The Town of Hempstead's Camp A.N.C.H.O.R. runs a six-week summer recreation program packed with sports, arts and crafts, drama, music, dance, and days in the ocean and pool.
All year
Fall, winter, and spring bring weeknight and Saturday activities all season long, open to residents with special needs ages five and up.
Give time
The Town of Hempstead welcomes volunteers across bowling, swimming, Saturday recreation, and the six-week summer camp.
